Use the tool on the [web page](https://esavendors.fyi/tools/is-this-expense-reimbursable). It works without JavaScript.

## How to use it

1. Choose your program.
2. Choose the expense.
3. Enter my child meets the program's eligibility rules.
4. Enter the vendor takes direct pay or sits on the program's approved list.
5. Read the result.

## How it works

We check your answers against the published rules of nine programs: Arizona ESA, Florida FES-UA, FES-EO and PEP, Texas TEFA, Utah Fits All, Iowa Students First, Arkansas EFA and North Carolina ESA+.

Tuition, microschool tuition, tutoring, curriculum, therapy and testing are core approved expenses in these programs. Enrichment, devices and transport vary, so they always get a maybe.

Arizona is special: the state keeps no approved-vendor list, so an unlisted vendor gets an Arizona-specific maybe instead of a no.

> This is a rough check from published rules, not financial or legal advice. Ask your program before you spend.

## Questions

### Is a yes a promise the program will pay?

No. Rules change and officers judge edge cases. A yes means the combination fits the published rules we encoded.

### Why does Arizona get its own answer?

Arizona's own handbook says the program has no approved-vendor list. Families use ClassWallet-registered vendors or receipts.

> **Not financial or legal advice.** ESA Vendors lists education vendors and the programs families say reimburse them. Rules change often and differ by state, province and child, so check the program's own published rules before you spend. An approval label names the official list and the date we read it. Listings are records, not recommendations, and details may be out of date. Report a mistake to hello@esavendors.fyi and we correct it.
